81 exhibitors from Japan and overseas
The 81 exhibitors will come from Japan and abroad, including artists, publishers, bookstores, and galleries in a variety of genres such as illustration, design, photography, and literature from Japan and overseas (Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, and Korea). In addition to experienced exhibitors, the Art Book Osaka executive committee has selected exhibitors with an emphasis on young artists. At this venue, visitors can spend two days surrounded by art by a diverse range of artists from Japan and abroad. Many sponsors will also participate to make the venue more exciting.

What is an Art Book?
An art book is a collection of works and descriptions of the works presented by an artist, organized in the form of a book, zine, or other printed publication.
An art books is a genre-less booklet edited by the artist himself/herself, which cannot be easily found in general bookstores.
There are no rules regarding the shape, size, number of pages, or price, and "art books" are those that are bound with a free conception.

A Communication Opportunity
Books and artworks will be sold face-to-face at each booth.
Visitors will be able to hold actual products in their hands and communicate directly with exhibitors.

Enjoy printing and bookbinding
In addition to book sales, printing and bookbinding will also be the focus of workshops and talk events.

・Students 500 yen (Cash only on the day of the event. Show your student ID card at the door. (Tickets cannot be purchased on website.)
*All prices include tax.
*Free admission for elementary school students and persons with disabilities (including one caregiver) (show your disability certificate at the door).
*Advance tickets are valid even if you are late.
*Re-entry is possible. You will receive an Entry Pass when you arrive at the reception. You can re-enter the venue only on the same day. (Lending or transferring the admission card is prohibited.)

01. ABOUT

Art Book Osaka is a book fair specializing in art-related books, which will be held for the first time in Osaka City in May 2024, organized by the Art Book Osaka Executive Committee in cooperation with “Art Tokku”  organized by Daishinsha Delight Co., Ltd.  The fair will give artists who publish books as part of their art activities in Japan and abroad, sales and business opportunities, and also provide the general public with a chance to get close to a wide range of art. In addition, we hope to provide an opportunity to focus attention on the industry that is improving its unique printing and bookbinding techniques in the midst of a time when the presence of paper media is becoming less important due to the rise of web-based media. 
With the cooperation of the Executive Committee, exhibitors, visitors, and sponsors, we plan to expand the scale of the fair and make it an annual event so that we can continue to provide opportunities for everyone to connect through art.

Call for Exhibitors has been closed.
Thank you very much for your entries to Art Book Osaka 2024. The number of entries far exceeded the expectations of the executive committee members, and we were surprised by the number of entries and the high expectations of everyone.
We are truly grateful for the great talent and enthusiasm of all the entrants, who have already made this event a great success.
While we would like to invite all of you to exhibit, due to the limited number of booths, we will be selecting exhibitors in accordance with the application rules. Please wait a few more days for the selection of exhibitors.
All applicants will be notified of the selection results by e-mail by the end of February.
